Science Writer / Medical Writer Genetic Diagnostic Reports
We are looking for a scientist whose primary responsibility will be to write content for our genetic test reports. This content may include a review of the genetics and biology of a particular condition as well as an explanation of the meaning of the genetic test result. Additionally the successful candidate will be required to prepare a range of formal documents presenting detailed information about human genetics. Tasks may include writing reviews on focused areas of human genetics, writing short essays for public consumption about emerging new genetics findings, and writing educational materials about genetics. Required Qualifications: ? PhD in genetics, molecular biology, or related field is required. ? At least 1-2 years of experience in science writing. ? An ability to grasp complicated concepts and explain them in simple terms. ? A writing sample will be required. ? The successful candidate will be a critical thinker who works independently and proactively.
