Developer for Media Extension (C++) for PHP
Job Description We are looking for a developer to work as an independent contractor on a PHP extension that merges videos together in real time. In the future, we will have more projects and this position could lead to full-time if we are both interested. You should have a good understanding of audio and video codecs (from h264, flv to mp3) and above average php knowledge with a sprinkle of c/c++ awesomeness. Spending your nights browsing the ffmpeg source code and dreaming about libavformat/libavcodec are a definite plus. Having built a couple or couple dozen very high performance php extensions wouldn't hurt either.
