Job Description Need a rough estimate for developing an iPhone app that lives and operates exclusively within the users phone. No syncing with remote servers, no remote data accessing, no social integration, etc. The concept is for an iPhone app that allows a user to create his own list of inspirational quotes that are then displayed back to him through the iPhone notification/reminder feature at a custom time interval. The user should receive notifications/reminders in a way that he is forced to read the full quote or at least part of the quote from the reminder/notification. Input and Output of the application: -- Input: Users will enter a quote and its author. -- Output: (1) Notifications/reminders that display previously entered quotes randomly. These notifications should occur on a user selected time interval. The notification should occur in a manner that forces the user to read the entire quote from outside the app. If this is not possible, then at least some of the quote and then full quote when selected. (2) A list of all quotes entered that is searchable and sortable. Features Needed: -- Ability to enter own quotes and author by manually typing or pasting from clipboard. -- Notifications/Reminders that when viewed or selected display at random a full quote that the user has previously entered. -- Open to read a random quote. -- Searchable and sortable list of all quotes entered. General flow of app: About eight possible screens. App is opened and user is asked if wants to Enter Quote or Read Quote or Edit Settings. If Edit Settings is selected then display Notification Interval settings. User should be able to select days of week to be notified and every # of weeks. If Enter Quote then ask for quote text and author. On the Enter Quote screen there should be a Back or Next. If Next screen then ask if want to add this quote to the notifications. If yes, then add quote the the list of quotes that will be randomly displayed at a select interval. If not added to notifications then just save quote in Full List data base. If Read Quote is selected then display a quote at random. On the full quote screen there should a Back option and a Full List option. If full list is selected then user should be taken to page with all quotes displayed. This list should be searchable and sortable by author or date entered.
