Alfresco 4 SSL certificate installation documentation - Linux
We are looking for someone to document the step by step complete process to install a commercial SSL certificate (verisign or godaddy) in to Alfresco. need to have experience in Alfresco since Alfresco 4 changed the search subsystem to Apache Solr and communications between the repository and Solr are protected by SSL with mutual authentication. Both the repository and Solr have their own public/private key pair, which are stored in their own respective keystores. These keystores are bundled with Alfresco when you installed but will be replaced with our own created keystores. You will need to be clear and specific for each step in order to complete this job. 1.- The end result is we are able to install the commercial certificate. 2.- The repository and the search subsystem works together. The assumptions are the SOLR is installed in the same tomcat container as the Alfresco repository (this is the default when you install Alfresco using the binary file). The installation is for Linux with Ubuntu 10.04 64 bits as the OS and Alfresco community 4.0.c You must use the Alfresco 64-bit Linux binary installer. Desired Skills: Linux, Alfresco Keywords: Other IT & Programming, Linux, Alfresco
