This is to be a messaging tool to work within Expression Engine. It will need to be integrated in such a way that messages are logged to the userID that sent the message and that it will only be visible to that user. A logged in user has a messaging section in their admin page. There will be a "New Message" button. This will bring up a section where you can write a new message. Upon sending the message this will email the website administrator. It will also log your message in a summary box on the page. The website administrator can reply to the email message and this will log to the specific userID it came from (messages are private and only between the admin and the user). When the user logs in, if a new message is waiting for them a new message icon will need to show on all pages in the header. On the message page itself there will be a "2 new messages" notification. Any new messages will appear above the sent message in a similar way to an iphone / android sms conversation. Each new message will show in turn in a list, unread messages highlighted with a different style. Upon clicking the message in the list will bring up the full message on the page, with a button to reply. The site will also use the Membrrr plugin. ---- The extension should be easy for us to install and work with, and work with the existing member functionality within Expression Engine, as well as the Membrrr plug in. ---- You should have a proven track record in working with Expression Engine.
