This is a 6 month contract working for a major supplier of mobile phone handsets and communication devices based in Basingstoke. You will be working as a part of a global team to develop and maintain a major software product based on Windows CE and Windows Mobile. This product is written mainily in C++ and will be installed on all mobile devices across the world. This role requires you to write the test environments using HTML and JavaScript. Further involvement will extend throughout all areas of the project writing requirement, functional and design specifications so a strong empahsis on specification writing and UML is essential. You should be a versatile and experienced software developer, familiar with all aspects of the full project lifecycle. You will have a degree of Computer Science and experience in C/C++, Win32, strong application development skills, HTML, JavaScript and MS Visual Studio 2005 onwards.
