Convert Existing Flash Video .FLV to HTML5 Using FFMPEG.
We are a small business that provides a video uploading service to a niche user base. We are seeking a PHP programmer with background in Flash Video, HTML5, PHP, CSS, UserAgent, and MySQL. Currently we have a video uploading program (web based) that is converting video uploads to .flv format for flash video play back. We are seeking someone to program when a video is uploaded, create the .FLV as it is traditionally done, but also create an HTML5 (.mp4) so if the user use an iPad or any type of mobile device. The HTML5 Video will play for them. Job Description: Must have strong knowledge in .FLV video to HTML5 Video using FFMPEG or a 3rd party software. Your responsibilities: - Review business requirements working with other team members - Perform a technical analysis of requirements - Produce a solid, detailed technical design - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision - Work with the QA and Customer Support teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround - Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use Your qualifications: - Programming language(s): HTML5 - Additional Skill(s): CSS, JavaScript - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - Strong communication skills - A complete Elance profile - References or an established reputation on Elance preferred Desired Skills: MySQL, CSS, Flash, PHP, HTML5 Keywords: Web Programming, MySQL, Flash, PHP, CSS, HTML5
