We are currnetly using an application named Quantrix to build our proprietary analysis model for real estate we are interested in acquiriing. The model includes a balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, funds from operations statement, purchase determination, capital, return on investment and return on equity tables. All this information is generated from source data from the seller. We usually receive a rent rolls, incomes statements and asset listings as well as lease abstracts occasionally and general ledger details for use with the analysis. We are thinking that we would like to build the solution in ruby on rails. We would need to be able to export the model to excel with formulas in tact.
