We are currently looking for Online Community Moderators, ideal candidates will have English American language skills due to the language used in the files. Candidates will be required to monitor and review content on the online forums and to ensure that the online community is a safe and exciting environment for online gamers. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are passionate about computer games and keen to further their career in this industry! Responsibilities: • Review all user generated content such as text, video, audio and image content • Monitoring the online forums unsuitable posts and moderating user accounts • Keeping up to date with all important PlayStation information and reviewing gaming blogs for consumer feedback • Educating users on community regulations and acceptable online behaviour • Report issues ie server crashes, log in problems etc • Producing a weekly report for the Community Team Leader • Escalation of community issues and disputes • Reporting on community activities and events The ideal candidate will have experience of the following: • Microsoft Office Suite and Lotus Notes knowledge • Cultural, social and political knowledge of US / Canadian PlayStation consumers is desirable • Experience of Lithium or other Bulletin Board/Forum products would be an advantage. • An interest in gaming is very important Hours of work: • 37.5 hours per week • Availability to work both day and evening shifts and perhaps the odd weekend • Working from home may be required This is a temporary position with a predicted duration of 12 months and the ideal candidate will start as soon as possible.
