Help Desk Technical Support
Help Desk Technical Support Contract: 2 years Wage: $18.74 hourly; W2 only Location: Faribault, MN 55021 Must be able to pass drug screen and full background check Responsibilities: · Updates his/her assigned service requests in the Help Desk Ticketing System · Provides end‐user hardware and/or software support to all employees as directed; troubleshoots as needed. · Reports and receives technical requests, including supporting “field” and “walk‐in” service requests. · Manage several projects and maintain documentation and communication for same · Maintains and troubleshoots network printers · Prepares and configures computer equipment, including installation of appropriate software. · Quoting, ordering and receiving of hardware and software · Performs routine administrative functions including word processing correspondence, and filing. · Skills: · Fluency using and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows (XP, Vist, Windows 7) and Microsoft Office (2003-2010). · Intermediate knowledge in hardware and networking, (Dell laptops, desktops, and workstations, wireless connectivity via cellular modem and wifi, vpn software) · Virus and spyware removal experience · Experience using imaging software · Ability to provide excellent customer service · Ability to manage both ticket and project loads · Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. · Solid organizational skills · Proven and effective attention to low-level multi-dimensional details · Evidence of flexibility and problem‐solving skills. · Demonstrated ability using a life cycle management process for implementation of changes in technology. · Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a lively, collaborative environment. · Excellent written and verbal skills
