I need three logos designed for a new company. All logos should have a transparent background and should look OK when overlaid on a variety of background colors (at least black and white). Logos 1 & 2 should be designed at high-resolution so that they can be printed at 300dpi or greater on anything up to a standard 8.5" sheet of paper, but should be readable if printed on a business card or used as a small image (300 px wide for logo #1, 100px x 100px for logo #2.) The first two will be for the company itself. The name of the company is Stone Door Media, and the focus of the company will be print marketing, web site development, and e-commerce with a focus on emerging technologies such as using QR codes tracking and iPhone/Android e-commerce apps. Logo #1 should be wide (to be used as a banner or at the top of letterhead, for example), and should include the full company name. Logo #2 should be square, and will typically be used when space is an issue. It does not necessarily need to have the full company name, and should look good at a variety of sizes. I like the idea of incorporating a QR code theme into the design to hint at what my specialty is, but it should be a stylized code, as just including a plain QR code is not very attractive... The third logo will just be a stylized version of the letters QRx (Rx should look like the prescription symbol.) It will be used primarily at 32px x 32px and 60px x 60px, so looking good when small is the most important thing. I would like to be able to print it at full resolution to a business card, though.
