Job Description I'm looking to establish an on-going relationship with a jewelry photography retoucher. I have several pieces that need to be retouched immediately. if I am satisfied with the quality and timeliness of your work, I will send more pieces in the future. The pieces are generally very small and made of gold, white gold or rose gold as well as precious stones like diamonds and sapphires. I will require that the pieces be straightened, made symmetric, blemishes removed and various pieces may need to be combined or have their color changed (since we don't photograph all colors and combinations). The pieces also need to be cut out with a clipping path and placed on a plain background with a drop-shadow. This job requires painstaking use of the clone tool and knowledge of how to retouch metal -- it's critical that in the process of retouching the shine and lustre of the metal isn't lost. This is high-end jewelry and each piece requires a lot of time and patience because they will be viewed at 100% resolution. It's important that you are a perfectionist in this regard.
