Job Description Our game project is a massively multi-player online tactical combat and empire building simulation game universe where players take control of a mercenary military unit, build up their forces, perform missions by merc contracts, join a team of players in factions, and battle against each other for control over resources and territory in a massive game universe that runs in real time, 24 hours a day. Currently we are in need of a developer who is familiar with unity 3d as we are using this as our game engine, my sql for the database, smartfox for the game servers, and C# programing for the scripting language in unity 3d. We are nearing the end of design and are ready to start writing game logic. Here is a list of game elements that we wish to include for immediate development and testing. Custom Unit Designer Players can design custom units for combat Unit designer uses simple drag and drop system to attach components to unit overlays to build unit designs. Design rules restrict and limit acceptable designs Combat System Mission creation screen that allows custom maps and missions to be created by users with variable parameters. 3d representation of units + terrain, with weapons fire animations Pilot Morale, that can effect combat unit effectiveness During combat, the camera viewing angle + zoom + position can be changed Variety of mission types with objective based goals Unit initiative system that reflects unit speed Simultaneous Time limited player combat turns broken into phases to ensure progression of the game since it will constantly be being updated and changed.
