Sales Call Database - Microsoft Access
This is a database that I had designed in 2007 and is mostly functional. I am open to a complete redesign but this can also be modified if that is easier. It is probably 65-75% of the functionality I need. The database that will house information on up to 2,500 companies with probably 50-75 data points specific to that company (1 to 1 relationships). These would include financial measures (ticker, stock price, debt, revenues, address, type of company, ranking etc.). Also, there will be several 1 to many relationship tables. These tables will include - Management teams table - Meetings - Deal opportunities Most importantly, I want to have several reports designed. There will probably be 5 reports total. These are mostly designed (so formatting is there, for the most part). One complicating factor is that I need to be able to update for share prices and financial information. I can do this on an Excel template. But what is critical is that it is easy for me to update that spreadsheet and then (with great ease) import updated information into the database so that reports can be updated. I will provide the old database and you can view it and see if it is a solid basis for you. I think it is relatively well built.
