I am looking to have an illustration/design created from a very rough drawing (attached). Context for this project is that the illustration/design will become the focal point of a book cover and related web-presence. The book is a historical look at politics, economics and the social dynamics that got us to the situation that we find ourselves in today and then, most importantly, how to fix this. What the author is trying to convey with this illustration/design is that the current political ideologies are so ingrained in the way people think and act that it literally has become part of their DNA, and he wants to represent that through the new way of thinking and approaching politics that he proposes in the book, the DNA of the liberals on the left (blue) and the DNA of the conservatives on the right (red) can be combined and intertwined into something that takes the best ideas of both sides and actually produces results, instead of partisan bickering.
