Job Description Lis Pendens (Foreclosures) Research Job (Florida): Search foreclosure filings for every county in Florida for the last 30 days and enter the data found into an Excel spreadsheet. Here is a site that lists all the counties in Florida. Each county will have it’s own Clerk’s Office website that list foreclosure filings in that county. For example, here is Miami-Dade County's website: http://www2.miami-dadeclerk.com/MFS/MortgageForeclosureSearch.aspx Go onto this site and pull up all the foreclosure filings for the last 30 days. In an Excel spreadsheet, list the name of the bank filing the foreclosure and, if listed, the property address the foreclosure is being filed on. Don’t list any foreclosures by Wells Fargo, Deutsche Bank, Citibank, GMAC, HSBC, Citibank, Citimortgage, BofA (Bank of America), US Bank, Chase, JP Morgan Chase or Bank of New York. This will be most of them. We’re looking for the smaller banks. Also, don’t list any foreclosures by cities, utility companies or condo associations. Put the first bank listed as Plaintiff into the spreadsheet. For example, in a listing like this: “HomeBank USA, N.A., as trustee on behalf of Ace Securities Corp Home Equities Loan Trust...” we want “HomeBank USA, N.A.”, not “Ace Securities Corp”. You should be able to search for all the filings over the last 30 days and scroll through them very quickly, looking for the smaller banks on 5% - 10% of the filings. Only on those listings you will read the rest of the document to see if they list the property address being foreclosed on (only real addresses like 1234 Jersey Drive, Sebastian, FL 33245, not legal plat addresses).
