Job Description I run a web content outsourcing department within an online marketing agency. I need a reliable VA for an ongoing commitment of 4-7 hours per week. Rates considered between $10 and $20 per hour, depending on experience and skill. Strong preference given to native Australian English speaking candidates. Applicants with English as a second language will not be considered. Ideally I would like to build a long term relationship with a reliable and experienced VA. ROLE DESCRIPTION * Ordering articles and blog posts from freelance writers, proofreading and copy-editing them to standard, paying the writers, and updating me with expenditures at the end of each week * Writing some articles and product descriptions as required. * Writing/managing content for our own websites/email newsletters as required. * Compiling analytics reports from email marketing campaigns. * Other projects such as managing social media campaigns as required. REQUIRED SKILLS * Above all you must know how to write. This is essential for spotting flaws in the writing you will be editing. Short-listed applicants will be sent a sample article and product description to copy-edit as a test of their skills. * Must be proficient at sales copy, as this is a large part of the orders we receive. * Must know how to use WordPress. * Must have at least basic knowledge of SEO. * Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and work to deadlines. * Excellent written communication skills. * Experience in an editing environment preferred.
