Need Multiple Shipping for Wordpress Templatic Ecommerce Theme
Hi, I have the Wordpress Templatic Ecommerce Theme and I need to add a feature where a customer who orders multiple items can ship them to multiple people. (I'm open to ideas and need this pretty urgently...within the next 12 hours) I have a couple of ideas of how to do this, so you maybe would not have to integrate it too deeply into the existing code. Maybe copying the existing shipping fields/code and allowing the customer to add shipping info on the actual product page, so if they wanted to order 2 items then they could define where they want them shipped - then maybe we can store those additional shipping records in an 'additional' shipping table joined on either the userid or orderid or sessionid. Then if they add another item maybe a drop down could be populated by those existing shipping records with their userid...so you wouldn't have to re-enter someone whose shipping address you already entered. And then if you're a really good coder, wrapping it up....by maybe putting an IFRAME on the checkout page with the items (ie. product id) and shipping address for each item - that way we don't have to deal with the existing code on that page too much. And if we could get this in the email that is generated to the admin - we'd have a beautiful thing.
