Job Description We are looking for experienced and talented graphics designers to create a set of advertising banners for our advertising affiliate network from the materials that we will provide (our logo and colour theme). The banners must be of professional quality and be able to reflect our corporate image and reputation. As this is an essential element of this job, please describe previous experience (or related) that you have in corporate identity and branding design. Applicants who do not address this criteria in your covering letter be not be considered. One banner design in 3 different layouts We need one banner design that can easily be adapted and fit into different banners dimensions. However, initially we intend the dimensions of our banners to be in both horizontal and vertical layout which will then be placed either up the top or on the right of the website. We need the banners in the following dimensions: •horizontal banner (width x height): 160 pixel x 600 pixel •vertical banner (width x height): 468 pixel x 60 pixel •Rectangle (width x height): 180 pixel x 150 pixel One of these banners should be a flash animated one, for example like the one here: <http://www.bannersnack.com/en/examples/classic-flash-banner-ads.html#3> Professional Style Through these banners, we are attempting to promote and advertise our professional environmental certification services. The target audience will be mid-senior business executives who needs our offering information presented to them clearly and succinctly. Our colour theme is green, red, black and white. Our website is <http://www.globalenvstandard.org>. They must be designed in a way that is catchy and be capable of capturing the visitors’ attention but because of the professional nature of our services do not overuse colour (i.e. too colourful) and use relevant icons and symbols (e.g. do not use ‘cute’ icons that one might use for advertising a game or a toy). Also do not overuse green/environmental icons, for example pictures of the globe in green, plant seed, and water etc. Please also leave a placeholder for us to add text into the banner. Ideal designs will incorporate graphics elements that are aesthetically pleasing and blends well with our offering information while at the same time without distracting the viewer from the content of the information. Timeline We will confirm the suitable candidates at around 4:00pm EDT 8 February. And we would like to see your first design on 10 February with the opportunity to request amendments.
