ROR WebApp Development - 2nd Part
We are a document and hard copy records management company based in Melbourne, Australia. Job description: We are looking for a Web Developer who will be responsible for the development of our custom software applications. Here's what you need to know about the program: The program will be used to manage paper based archive systems. These systems usually consist of containers into which documents are placed. These documents are then described in the database. Also, we are hoping to implement some level of BASIC digital document management via Amazon S3 The first step of this project has been completed,and includes: 1. Develop login/authentication page (authentication via Devise gem) 2. Develop Dashboad and Documents Tab for app 3. Develop authorisation for these tabs (via cancan gem) 4. On Documents Tab, have a simple file upload to Amazon S3 and a simple file listing interface of contents of S3 (carrierwave gem?) 5. Utilize Bootstrap for layout and look and feel This is currently hosted on heroku, and all repositories on github. What still needs to be done: The app is only 10% complete. This job will get it to 95%. All major functionality needs to be finished, fine tuned and bug tested. We have scoped this project fairly well, and have included wireframes of all major functionality and screens (please see attached). We want to be intimately involved in the development process (AGILE dev. preferred). We would prefer a developer that will be able to meet via SKYPE if possible. RE: Your proposal.
