Job Description We are currently seeking candidates for our social media and marketing internship for our website traveezy.com, which includes, but not limited to: website, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, myspace Vimeo. Our ideal candidate should have a firm understanding of the social media landscape, strong project management skills, and an understanding of marketing principles. This is a great opportunity to build your resume and experience, as you contribute to the continuing development and growth of our social media marketing extension. You should have an interest in advertising/marketing, communications and/or PR. Duties may include (Twitter, forums, blogs, etc.), online community management and other social media-related tasks. The hours and days are flexible 10-12 hrs/week offsite. Skills and requirements:. - Work from home - Passion for and experience using Social Media such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Organized. - Strong research, writing, social web outreach - Strong writing and communication skills. - Team-oriented attitude. - Attention to detail. Preferred: - Design, copywriting, or editorial experience. - Familiarity with Web Analytics. - A background in Advertising/Marketing/PR. -a working knowledge of the Adobe CS5 programs, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Bridge, preferred not mandatory Let me know if you are interested, the hours could increase or decrease depending on how much there is to do.
