Desktop Trading Backtesting application
I need a stand alone desktop application to back test financial market information. Experiance with share trading terms a must: ie - long/short trades, sliding stop loss, market offset, market abd limit orders etc I will provide 3 years worth of back data for specific share market and I need a back testing function written to store the data/ search the data and give profit/loss for any defined period from that data. (the 3 years data will be provided in WordPad format). I need it to be password protected (i will suggest a password). the following features must be searched defined parameters which the user can chage the input: Profit Loss Defined dates start and stop times Sliding stop/loss Market Offset Market or Limit orders The output must show profit or loss amounts for the defined period. I will also require the data to be protected (so the user cannot amend or see the initial data source) I need the project to be formated in a professional and user friendly way.
