Job Description The Job: A small but potentially ongoing role for an experienced and qualified PHP / Drupal programmer to improve our website functionality. The Project: Our site is a video sharing community portal (pre-beta) using Kaltura CE as video backend and Drupal as CMS and Fusion Bubblr theme for display. The Menu system consists of left menu and top menu and foot menu. The left menu include different categories e.g Topics A-Z, Injury, Carers etc. Under each category are a list of topics e.g Acquired Brain Injury, Anxiety Disorders etc. For each topic, it links to a list of video post related to that topic. The top menu is primary menu and coordinated with the left menu and current URL. It includes menu items: Video, Forum, Upload etc. We need you to develop within the CMS to ensure that each menu item’s URL would be updated dynamically based on current URL. This will greatly improve the user experience. We also want you to develop the code base such that after user login, create a block with user management menu and advanced search function, and can be put nicely on the right site of header. Skills: You need to have 5+ years experience in web development (software) and importantly using PHP and Drupal. Experience of social media or community sites (that require member logins) is an advantage. Please provide details of projects completed and some of your best sample of drupal overviews of your work.
