JQuery Website Scraping
Job Description Hi, More specifically, I need a way for thousands of people to search for articles via my interface at any one time, based on the keywords they input. Since thousands of members will be using my article search tool at any one time, it cannot be server based (or else my tool will be rendered useless once they ban my server IP due to excessive traffic). So it means no cURL, file_get_contents or other PHP scraping functions. In other words, I need a simple jQuery script that will be able to scrape the html contents of another side, using the client's browser. Here's how the script is expected to work: 1) Client will input a search term into a textbox and click on the "Search" button 2) Without any page refresh, the jQuery script will display a loading animation picture, and it will run in the background. What it does is to run the search query on article sites and display only search results listing in a specified on the page. The script can grab article content from a mixture of the below article sites: - Ezinearticles.com - GoArticles.com - ArticlesBase.com - Ezinemark.com - Helium.com - ArticleSnatch.com (uses Google Custom Search) Requirements: - This script should be able to work on any domains I upload it to. - This script *MUST* rely on the client's browser to do the scraping. All the sites above are known to block IPs which requests for their search results too frequently, so I can't use cURL on them. - Budget: $70 USD - Time frame: Within 2 days To apply, please bid accordingly and let me know your date of completion. Please do not bid unless you can complete this script with 100% confidence, within the budget and time-frame. Keywords: Scripts & Utilities, animation, php, curl, html, jquery
