Flash Application Developer Start Date: March 12 Duration: 4 Months Rate: £350 Per Day Hours: 37.5 Location: Winnersh, Berkshire Job Purpose: Our client, one of the leading Media providers in the UK is looking for a Senior Developer, experienced in designing and developing applications in Adobe Flash. The Client is currently developing a suite of applications to roll out on a new set-top box, which will be equipped with Adobe StageCraft 1.2 platform delivering a Flashlite 3.1 runtime environment. The TV Flash Application Design and Development Engineer will be responsible for the architecture and development of Flash applications to run on the TiVo box. Responsibilities, activities and key deliverables To provide documentation to the team on application architecture, design and Flash coding best practice.To provide release documentation for application deliveries. Work closely with the TV product team to deliver applications to specification. To assist in the production of detailed requirements and functional specifications for TV Flash applications To provide documentation to the team on To provide advice on development environments enabling efficient source control and application Performance. Provide in-life bug-fix support for all deployed applications. Skills Required To have developed Flash applications using ActionScript 2. To have experience of developing for a Flashlite 3.1 environment preferably for a set-top box using Adobe StageCraft, and if not then mobile phone applications. To have experience of working with Adobe Creative Studio including Flash Pro, Photoshop and Fireworks.
