ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT, LONG TERM TEMP / FULL TIME, VARIED ROLE LOCATION: Hull SALARY AND BENEFITS: £16,500 COMPANY INFORMATION: - Successful family owed company in Hull YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING: - Working knowledge of purchase ledger, sales ledgers and reconciliations. - Experience of managing credit control duties and successfully reducing the debtors list. - Preparing weekly debtor reports to present to the Financial Controller - Experience of debits, credits, accruals, prepayments, journals - Ability to manage own time effectively to meet deadlines and targets. - Possess a high level of accuracy and IT literacy. IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING: - Varied accounting skills especially credit control, reconciliations, purchase and sales ledger. - Previously employed as an Accounts Assistant where you had full responsibility for the credit control function / reducing debt and preparing reports - A willingness to accept additional financial duties set by the Financial Controller - Be able to manage and solve accounting queries especially with credit control and invoice disputes - Excellent telephone manner, be highly organised and pro active - Immediate availability ROLE INFORMATION: - Full time, temporary (10 months).
