Job Description We need an experienced senior level .NET developer to do ongoing work on WebsitePanel hosting control panel (see www.websitepanel.net). This will involve fixing existing bugs, improving performance, adding new features and modules. The app mostly uses a code behind system and is running from a mercurial source control. As this is an open source project any changes we make will need to be committed back to the project, so experience with source control is essential. You will also need in-depth knowledge of scripting IIS7 features, Active Directory, using web services, compiling .dll's, GAC, optimizing and performance tuning code. Due to past problems finding a developer able to understand the project, we will require any successful applicant to complete a small project at a fixed price first to prove he can do the job before we can consider paying hourly.
