Quick guide for accounting research - US GAAP
Hi, I am looking for a quick reference guide (in MS word) for investors who are researching financial statements . The guide should explain the accounting process for following topics for US GAAP 1. Fair value. 2. Cash receivables and prepaid expenses. 3. short term investments. 4. Inventory. 5. Revenue recognition. 6. Long lived assets. 7. Long term investments. 8. Business combinations. 9. Current liabilities and contingencies. 10. Long term liabilities. 11. Leases. 12. Income taxes. 13. Pension. 14. Foreign currency. The freelancer should have very good understanding of each of the above topic with regards to US gaap. For instance for Business combination topic he should explain the eight steps for acccounting a business combination. MY PREFERENCE : 1. I will prefer bids that show me a sample of how they propose to develop the guide. 2.
