Conversion of large PHP system to Rails
We have a very large PHP SAAS based system that we're looking at converting to Rails as it is becoming increasingly complex to extend, modify and support. The existing application is built on a full MVC stack and a very large portion of the system can be directly cloned from the existing database, models and views. Technologies required include Rails, git, MySQL & jQuery. Work will be done with the existing developer who will be managing the project, setting milestones, handling interface design, answering any queries and assisting with development where necessary. All work will be on an ad hoc basis to meet individual milestones and all milestones will have clear instructions about URL/routing, models, migrations and views.
