Project Architect/Delivery Architect (Lead) – TCP/IP, Architecture The Project Architect will be required to take ownership of architectural solutions from Viability Architects at the outset of Define. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the solution is delivered as it was originally defined - i.e. owning the technical ‘vision’ - and that, as and when changes are made, they are correctly raised, assessed, impacted and approved. Similarly, the Project Architect must ensure that the solution holds true to the enterprise vision. The Lead Project Architect is expected to work alongside and in partnership with the Project Manager and to take accountability for the technical aspects of project delivery. The role is within the Infrastructure and Technology area, where the majority of work has wide impact and requires a broad range of technical and business skills are required to be able to drive solutions forward. They will also need: • Good breadth of technical skills and ability to pick up new technical skills quickly. • Good technical security and Network security skills • TCP/IP • Good customer relationship management • Strong Communication and networking skills • Team working - will be working closely with interdependent projects and deliveries • Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and priorities • Stakeholder Management
