THIS IS A FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION Job Description: This position's importance is to program machines in our clients Manufacturing facility and assist those with less expertise in the set-up process of Machining the parts. They will teach and mentor some of the machinists. JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Program with CAM systems, (Computer Aided Manufacturing). 2. Independently complete full setups, first piece inspections and run all needed production according to the clients manufacturing and quality standards. 3. Edit and troubleshoot programs/set-ups. 4. Expert at machine production and codes. 5. Know speeds and feeds for various materials. 6. Understand manufacturing blueprints. 7. Complete work projects to required tolerances on time and on budget. 8. Maximaze the manufacturing efficiences. 9. Design and manu fixtures. 10. Support the manual milling department when necessary, (bench work = de-burring, sanding, tumbling, etc.) Desired Skills: AutoCAD Keywords: CAD, AutoCAD
