SEEKING QUALIFIED CANDIDATES ONLY! Overview Under the supervision of the Group Leader/Team Lead, operate paper cutter and/or a 5000I Image Scanner. This position requires standing for the length of the shift. Test booklets are cut into single sheets in preparation for scanning. Test booklets are scanned using NCS 5000I industrial scanners. Responsible for adhering to all productivity and quality expectations. Work is contract based and requires strict adherence to timelines and accuracy standards. Training will be provided. PC skills required Specific Duties and Responsibilities: PC skills required Knowledge of Operation terminology and work processes Communicate effectively with staff and all co-workers Cross-train to assist in other departments when needed Verify that all parts of a job are present. Cutter only: Log into Production database to track productivity Cut spines from test booklets using industrial cutting machines Rubberband cut stacks maintaining stack integrity. Scan work maintaining sheet and stack integrity. Cutter Operator to complete daily checklist prior to using cutter Responsible for maintaining productivity levels Deliver completed work to staging area. Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area. Working conditions and Requirements: Exposure to dust due to the nature of the environment. Standing, lifting, bending and moving carts for entire shift. Periods with increased volumes of the workload may occur.
