*****Web Producer / 9 month contract / Surrey / Good rates depending on experience***** Job description JOB TITLE: Web Producer (Contract) JOB CONTEXT My clients Online team's role has grown over recent years to be key to almost all areas of my clients work. This is reflected in AOPs around the organisation containing projects demanding varying levels of support from the team to deliver successfully. The staffing level within the team has been stable for over two years while the growth has been handled through delegation to agencies and project managers in other teams, with tactical support from the two in-house producers. Several projects scheduled over FY12 are large and critical enough to require another dedicated in-house producer to ensure their successful delivery. DIMENSIONS Tracking expenditure against c. £100k budget. PERSON SPECIFICATION The successful candidate should also be able to show evidence of the following specific attributes: Essential: Education to degree level and an aptitude for communications is essential. Excellent project management skills are crucial, preferably demonstrated by both a formal qualification in an Agile methodology and evidence of a number of projects successfully delivered. Accuracy and clarity in communicating are critical aspects of this position. The job holder must be able to work under pressure and to coordinate and manage a variety of projects that have to be completed to strict deadlines. A creative and flexible approach to all challenges is required in order to contribute to a very active, broad base of operation. The job holder should be confident in talking to colleagues at all levels of the organisation and should have excellent people management skills. An ability to take a strategic view and see the big picture is vital to the success of this role. They should have experience either managing project work by agencies as a client, or experience working within a project management or account management role within an agency. Desirable The job holder should have excellent XHTML, CSS and Photoshop skills, as well as an awareness of databases and spreadsheets.
