Data Entry Specialist
A large downtown financial company is looking for a temporary Data Entry Specialist for a long term contract. Job duties are as follows: Perform data entry to create accurate indexed records using PC and key from digital image. Will also do other document capture tasks as needed that include document preparation, scanning and quality assurance checking. Enter information into appropriate indexed application for a variety of data entry workflow tasks, ensuring that all work is performed according to established procedures and meets or exceeds approved performance and quality standards. Must have basic planning/organizational, detail orientation, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, basic math, basic time management and oral and written communication skills required. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people in a team atmosphere required. Must be able to bend and reach frequently, sit for extended periods of time, maintain visual focus, and have good attention to detail. 1-2 years of Data Entry experience. Excellent keyboard skills (alpha/numeric) with a minimum of 100-120 correct keystrokes per minute (ckpm).
