Full-time Filipino Writer with Excellent English Writing Skills (Long Term)
Job Description Job Description For now, we are looking for applicants who (1) can work between the hours of 10pm and 10am GMT+8 (Tuesdays to Saturdays preferred as we follow US time zone), (2) can work a minimum of 40 hours a week, (3) with excellent English skills, both written and spoken, (4) have English accent an is willing to make live calls if the need arises, (5)impressive customer support and technical skills, and (6) willing to work on weekends. If you are what we are looking for, please do not send a generic cover letter. All the applicants will be screened. In your cover letter, please do the following: 1. Include this sentence "I am an insane vampire and I want to work with people like me." on the top of your cover letter. 2. List all your customer support experiences (calls, emails, chats, etc.), as detailed as possible. We do not accept attached CVs/resumes. 3. Why do you think I should hire you. 4. We initially pay $3.00/hour for this job. DO NOT BID HIGHER THAN THAT. Failure to do what I have instructed means you're not that interested and therefore we should reject your application right away. Your task will revolve mostly on answering emails in which we designed generic answers for. We're looking to hire someone to help us handle our instructor facing support, and eventually take on more responsibilities including managing a pipeline, responding to unique questions, giving intelligent course feedback, and helping with a number of other things. This job pays $3.00 per hour for starters - if you bid more than $3.00, you will be rejected right away. If you can impress us with your performance, surprises will come your way. :) We will be using Pipedrive, Toutapp, and Google Apps. (if you don't know what these are, we recommend that you do some research before you apply). Other requirements: 1. Experience with Pipedrive, Toutapp, Google Apps (preferred) 2. Fluent English (Make sure you have EXCELLENT English skills) 3. This is a full time work - we need someone who can work 40 hours a week. 4. Dependable, hard working, resourceful, excited to learn new things, bright, upbeat, friendly, and witty. 5. Someone who would want to work with a fun, start-up company for a loooooong time. We do not want someone working for us for some months. Most of our staff have been with us for years, and we would like somebody who stays. 6. Able to work his/her way through problem solving, with technical knowledge and great common sense. 7. Again, if you have an experience in customer facing support, especially via e-mail, you should note that on your cover letter. Your main responsibility is to respond to customer facing emails. This will be the majority of your job. We get many emails with the same questions and for those emails we have pre-written responses. When you first join, you will just focus on emails that have a pre-written answer. Once you are comfortable with that, we'd like you to take on more responsibility, including the following things: (1)Managing a team of customer facing support specialists that you will train and oversee. (2)Becoming an expert in course production and content editing. (3)Work closely on projects for some of the most influential and innovative educators on the planet. (4)Random tasks. Researching, data entry, virtual assistant sort of things. We have a dozen other random tasks that we'd like help with. What we need from you is to tell us why do you think you are fit for this job. Explain your working experiences, particularly the ones where you used your English skills. We need someone confident and fluent at the same time.
