Write Special Reports for Quickbooks - Excel
We use Quickbooks Enterprise for Manufacturing, Version 12, and have also purchased a report writer, QReportbuilder by Alpha Software, but have no time to learn it. We would like to extract certain data fields from QB and manipulate them to perform analysis daily with regard to our productivity per labor hour, per department, product produced, etc., among other things. Daily labor by department as well as products produced on a daily basis is entered into QB on a daily basis. Data extracted via the standard QB reports, even when customized and filtered, do not produce what we need without a lot of manipulation. We are looking for something that could either feed preprogrammed Excel spreadsheets or Qreportbuilder reports that could calculate the metrics that we require to evaluate our efficiencies on a daily basis.
