This project is to create an iOS app that interacts with a web-based service and displays simple content from it. App-side functionality includes displaying pages of browsable content from the server (eg previous, next in a series), user input (submissions and voting) and error checking. The app will incorporate iAds but with ability to suppress ads for selected based on parameters from the server, and sharing of content to others. The project scope is not necessarily to produce a finished, ready to ship app but to write fully functional (and well commented) code to which additional integration can be added as the server side development is completed. Recommendations for web service integration details and user identification are also highly desired. Strong sense for good user experience and interface design required. Additional future functionality is identified but not in scope for initial release unless they can be done relatively easily.
