Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a Field Engineer on a contract-to-hire/direct hire permanent placement opportunity with a leading company in Littleton, CO. NOTE: Based in Denver area with up to 50% travel in the USA. Duties and Responsibilities: Supports field testing through time in the field or in direct support of field work. Develops experience in executing and managing project tasks, and delegating to other support personnel. Analyzes project data and prepares trip reports for project tracking, information gathering and internal review. Reviews test plans and/or product design for compliance with engineering principles. General Competencies: Basic understanding of project components and technical areas. Strong mechanical and electrical skills. Hands-on experience with wiring and troubleshooting instrumentation. Monitors analyzers and gathers test data for review by the project team. Able to communicate data/results clearly and concisely. Ability to solve practical problems when confronted by new or non-standard situations. Ability to interpret and communicate a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form using standard engineering concepts. Education, Certificates and Licenses: Bachelor’s level or Associate’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical preferred) or successful completion of the Mechanical or Chemical Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification. Experience: Engineer -- 2 years of engineering research and development experience that includes field work. Experience with mechanical and/or electrical/electronic field repairs preferred. Electrical power, chemical process or utility industry/power plant experience a plus.
