Volt is currently seeking a product engineer to work onsite with our client in a position expected to last approximately three years. Volt is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. What are the most important, specific duties of this position? We are seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to plan and execute embedded software testing on C&F products to verify production readiness. This position will: * Align software test activities to meet Product Development Process schedules and follow C&F embedded software process, using best practices and tools * Plan, develop, coordinate, and perform testing on the bench and machine in alignment with other Product Verification &Validation activities, as well as lead software documentation design reviews * Provide support to update and debug software on test tractors in the shop * Develop setup and scripts for automated testing * Work with 3rd party partners in the development and execution software testing, both manual and automatic Requirements: Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience: * Good communicator * Results driven and thrives on solving problems in a team environment. * BS in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Software Engineering. * Knowledge and experience in software testing, tools, and processes. * Experience in working with suppliers, partners and co-workers in the development of software * Experience with electrical and electronic controls, components, and troubleshooting * A basic knowledge of Controller Area Network communications and electro-mechanical systems on mobile vehicles * Experience in developing or using Labview and National Instruments software tools Location: Dubuque, IA Type: CONTRACT Duration: 365+ Days Pay Rate: $22.46 - $35.76 Hourly DOE Contact: Volt Technical Resources Volt Workforce Solutions 1340 Blairs Ferry Rd., Ste.
