Job Description We are looking for writers who want to establish their name for credibility, resumes, or for more prestigious achievements to add into a query letter and are willing to work for a low cost to achieve that. **If you have applied to this job before, but did not get a response, please RE-APPLY. We had such a large turnout that we were unable to respond to every applicant before the job expired.** We are seeking short stories within the young adult/adult fantasy genre -or- paranormal romance. Short stories MUST meet the following criteria: -must be completed when you submit to us, we are not seeking unfinished works. -must be from 3,000 to 15,000 words in length. (If your story is longer than 15,000 words, please contact us as we do accept longer if we feel the story is a good read and may warrant a larger spot in one of our books.) We also accept full length novels for consideration, but you would need to contact us about this (just specify it in your cover letter) -must be FREE of all copyrights to anyone other than yourself. -must be well-written (clean of spelling/ and most grammatical errors) **This could be a repeat job to those interested when we are in need of writers for future installments of our anthology book** ________________________ YOU MUST READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE APPLYING: -you must have a scanner, or access to one. We will be sending you a contract that must be signed and returned to us (scan and email). This contract will release your copyright for the story to us and you will not be entitled to any future royalties (only the initial payment) --- IN TURN: You will have the option to choose from 1 of the following: a one-time payment of no more than $10.00 (depending on your bid) -OR- a $1.00 payment and a paperback copy of the book (a collection of fantasy stories -or- paranormal romance from various authors) with your name credited as the author of your story. In all promotion of the book which states authors you will also be credited. *Please note: we only ship the book within the U.S. If you do not live within the US, you are not eligible to receive a copy as payment and must accept the money instead by default.* This is a great opportunity to have an official published piece of work in print that you can use to boost your credibility for bigger and better things. This is something you can tell to agents, publishing houses, on resumes, and more.
