A major state agency has an urgent need for Software Test Engineers to perform Manual Testing for key web applications. One application in particular is the most widely used application for the agency and will require candidates to plan, manage, and execute high caliber testing throughout the project. Responsibilities: Interact and communicate with PMs and Developers concerning testing status A high attention to detail to ensure a high quality, bug-free product Responsible for development of a test plan Responsible for development and execution of test scripts Utilize documentation tools such as Enterprise Architect from Sparx Systems Promote an open environment of cooperation Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years in IT Software Testing Minimum 6 years understanding of SDLC Strong background in Software Quality Assurance & Testing Experience testing any sort of web application (.NET) This will be a longer project with an opportunity to work on other projects if you perform at a high level.
