Excel Genius - Current Project & Ongoing Contractor
We are an investment management firm with hundreds of assets that change performance categories annually. We're looking for a much simpler data template than we currently use for accounting for our assets for tax purposes. We are looking for an Excel programmer with Google Docs expertise. We're looking for someone who can perform a file simplification, collapsing columns by adding formulas to what we are currently using, and simplifying the structure of our Excel document altogether to something much more manageable and automated. I am attaching a template for the doc itself, that we house in Google Docs currently. The key columns are ones with the column header in orange (shows you how simplistic we are if we're using color for data outputs! columns AP and AQ and E). E we would want to automate - and can go into with the winning bidder. AP and AQ involve a complicated set of formulas across multiple columns that are extraneous and clunky - it may even be possible to simplify this down from columns X to AQ, to simply column AP and column AQ - I don't know). Output would need to be manipulable in Google Docs - this will be a criteria for selecting the winning bidder- not just Excel expertise, but more importantly - being able to translate an Excel file into GD - with all functions and formulas supported and functional). We have on-going data manipulation and management needs, by the way, that may well justify ongoing contract work with the winning bidder. Someone in the US (San Francisco Bay Area) would be preferred, for ease of communication, but all bids from qualified bidders are welcome. Keywords: Excel
