Help integrate my new OCR program into my Firefox Extension

I have a firefox extension written in javascript that checks a website for a number to change. When the number changes, a captcha is displayed. I purchased an OCR and have the integration files but have no clue what to do with them. There are DLL, EXE, and VB files. My knowledge is just web programming. (html, coldfusion, javascript). I will need my firefox extension to send the awaiting OCR program the captcha image and wait for the response to be returned.
