Vectorworks / Spotlight / AutoCad
Commercial Integration Lighting/Sound/Video company needs a proficient (good 2-d skills with some 3-d ability) Vectorworks / Vectorworks Spotlight or AutoCad user to help convert field drawings and designs into finished drawings for project submissions. Familiarity and experience with architectural drawings and commercial construction will be a big advantage. Drawing experience and the ability to transfer hand-drawn information into CAD files is required. Students with two semesters of CAD training with some exposure to architectural drawing should have the skills we need. Office space, Vectorworks (iMac) computer, and software provided at our Houston office, or work may be done by telecommute if right candidate can produce what we need without direct supervision. This is a part-time / temporary / freelance gig. We estimate 60-90 hours work for existing project, with possible repeat work as new projects come up. If you are not a Vectorworks user, but are proficient with AutoCad you will need your own computer and software, and we will need to make sure we can exchange files in .dwg format. This is not a project that can be completed in TurboCad or Sketchup. Email resume with references ( recent work or instructors).
