We are a digital music distributor representing over 500 record labels. We distribute over 250,000 tracks of music, sound effects, audiobooks and other audio material to hundreds of music services around the world. We need to set up an Amazon S3 storage account that can act as an FTP server. We have been using a shared hosting account. But since we typically receive 100's of albums of music in wav file formats, our storage needs has exceeded the limitation of most shared hosting and VPS solutions. I have created an Amazon WEb Services account for a S3 storage solution. But I do not know how to set it up as a FTP server. That is, I want to create buckets for each label/client that is secure and only they can upload to it. Much like creating FTP folders. I understand that there are some third party software solutions or FTP clients. But I have had trouble figuring this out and I need someone with specific Amazon S3 and FTP experience to help.
