ComputerWorks Technologies is a leading IT consulting company in Southern California. We have an immediate opening for Senior .Net Developer at our local government client location in Los Angeles. Job Description Develop and/or enhance applications using languages, tools and/or techniques. Design, document, create, and optimize database schemas. Tune queries, stored procedures, and functions to improve performance. Analyze, test, and perform maintenance support tasks of applications such as repairing bugs and errors, and developing workarounds. Perform general technical troubleshooting and provide best practice recommendations to management. Perform all roles of an IT software lead programmer and developer. Consultant must meet all of the following minimum requirements: 1. 1. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering. 2. 2. Three (3) years experience within the last five (5) years programming and developing using ASP.NET versions 2.0 and above in C#. One (1) to two (2) years experience with VB.NET, ColdFusion, Java, C++, C, or Objective-C, may be substituted for one (1) to two (2) years of the three (3) years of required experience above. 3. 3. Three (3) years experience within the last five (5) years designing and normalizing Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases. 4. 4. Experience using advanced techniques such as a AJAX, JQuery, Web Services, XSLT, Silverlight, WCF, dynamic ASP.NET controls creation, precompiled ASP.NET controls, SQL injection prevention, asynchronous coding, iPhone or Android development, multilevel nested SQL queries, stored procedures or functions, custom HTTP handlers, WCF or REST. Candidates will be required to present examples of their own work, if called for an interview, and provide at least two work references. Work Hours: 40 hours/ Mon-Thursday. Off Fridays.
