Job Description I need to develop a new extension for joomla 1.7 that will allow creation of new user accounts and allow those users to upload their inventory through their own admin area. I am not certain if existing extensions can do something similar, but I need to find a joomla programmer who can either modify free extension or create new. I know that version 2.5.1 has just been released, so this extension will have to be compatible. Ultimate goal would be to display automotive parts within a network of 2000 stores online. Each store admin representative will be able to login to their own store and upload their inventory. Only specializing in couple of auto parts, such as engines and transmissions, so category tree for inventory products will be simple. Admin user will simply add the items by typing in text box. Design must be very clean and user friendly, allowing the admin users to upload an image, title, small description and price. In addition, we are interested in developing XML or tab-delimited excel format file for inventory to be used in conjunction with the extension. Once the template is properly filled by the admin user, we want to see an option for them to simply upload the entire file, and therefore easily update their store inventory. I am not sure if component, plugin, and module will be required for this system. I want to consult joomla professionals who know and understand how to implement this idea.
