Data entry database - Microsoft Access
Looking to create a database to facilitate log-in(data entry) of client project information. This entails 1) A data entry screen with about 15 fields (time, numeric, etc). Some fields will have valid values that would be connected to separate table. Others will be free form data entry. 2) Saving of the entered data 3) Exporting select fields of the entered data onto the network in txt file (" " delimited) 4) ability to edit the data in case there are errors 5) Print summary reports of the entered data (viewed in PDF or print physically) 6) Security of data entry 7) ability to have multiple users. 8) Ability to custom query and export (for use in other programs) the saved data. Since we have Access 2007, that would be ideal. Open to other solutions. Attached is a summary of some of the key tables and fields.
