Job Description Hi - We are co-founders of a childrens book publishing company and need talented artists/illustrators to complete our current works in progress. We need a ninja ILLUSTRATOR - Graphic - Designer - Artist * Specifically for childrens books Looking for someone who we can call on for various book illustrations, that we will be publishing to Kindle, iPad, and some print editions. You will be given clear outlines for graphics with detailed descriptions, example images and links to help craft a vision for the project and would be expect you could begin delivering revisions and collaborating to finish with great illustrations for the book. Core requirements: Requirements: -Some Experience with illustrating -Understand Basic Concepts for Kid's illustrations - Follow directions - Aren't afraid to ask questions for clarification - Willing to work with our team Must be able to 1. Develop great illustrations when needed 2. Leap over Tall building in single bound 3. Great with understanding childrens book design and what appeals to them 4. Understand our design formats and the design quality 5. Be able to make changes quickly. (no more 2 weeks to get around to it.) 6. Brings own nun-chucks to fight 7. Be able to send over images or help us format them into certain documents 8. Help design illustrations on the fly and recuse Kittys in trees. 9. Understands design concepts and how to create from our ideas and notes 10. Has Good understanding of different design elements 11. Fists of Iron 12. Needs to be rated at least 4 Star, and score well on Odesk tests. (top 20% pls) 13. Has invulnerable Sense of Humor. Looking for long term relationship.
