The Collateral and Margin Technology Team provides margin calculations, call management capability, counterparty communication, and reporting for management and regulatory requirements. The aim is to provide a platform that implements a consistent margining policy for all types of clients and asset classes. The primary systems used by Margin Managers to track, manage, monitor and control the margin exposures and collateral include a mix of Technologies - J2EE-based WebSphere Application Server, C#/.NET, Java/J2EE, Oracle, SQL, and DB2 on Windows and UNIX platforms. The candidate will provide development of data models, front end tools, feeds, feed testing, and application development using C# / .NET platform on existing and new risk-based applications. Proficiency in Oracle and Crystal Reports are desired. Knowledge of capital markets risk systems is ideal. This is a contract position but may lead to full-time. Responsibilities: Development in C#, .NET, Oracle platform, creating new capabilities which will be integrated with current applications Create technical design documents as part of development process Collaborate with Global Margin & Collateral Technology teams to understand business needs and provide technology solutions Need to be delivery-focused and able to take ownership for meeting assigned deadlines Must Have: BA Degree (IT, Computer Science or related discipline) or equivalent .NET, C# (minimum of 5 years) Strong Oracle, SQL / PL SQL background / SQL Server (minimum of 5 years) Crystal Reports Financial Industry experience, specifically in Capital Markets Excellent communication skills Strong documentation skills Organized, hard worker and team player
